Rejuvenation: The Catalyst’s Container

Catalysts take in lots of information, see infinite possibility, and can’t stop from moving into action. Our natural way of moving through the world is through an experimentation mindset.

But sometimes our superpowers can be our kryptonite. And sometimes creating net new systems (and encountering resistance) can take its toll on us personally and professionally. When we are doing the work in service of our own personal Purpose, the fallout can be even more detrimental.

In this session, we’ll explore the Catalyst Formula – Vision, Action, Iteration and explore how Rejuvenation as the overall container for our process can make us more successful. More successful in implementing the change we want to see in the world and more successful in sustaining our energy without burning out.

Shannon Lucas, Co-Founder of Catalyst Constellations, has over twenty years’ experience working with startups, launching her own ventures, and driving innovation into the world’s largest companies. She is a passionate thought leader about creating sustainable organizations in every sense of the word; for people, planet and profit.

Shannon launched Catalyst Constellations based on the recognition that there is a unique group people driving the most profound change in the world – Catalysts. This community has special set of superpowers and challenges. Shannon and her partner create tools, resources, and research, along with physical and virtual spaces to connect and support a highly curated global community of Catalysts; so they can more sustainably drive positive impact around the world. The tribe consists of Catalysts from organizations such as Amazon, Apple, GE, Hitachi, and Steelcase.

In her previous roles, as EVP of Emerging Business at Ericsson, Senior Innovation Architect at Cisco’s Hyperinnovation Living Lab and Director of Innovation at Vodafone Global Enterprise, Shannon empowered Fortune 500 businesses to stay agile, competitive and sustainable through the adoption of new technologies and organizational structures. She created global customer innovation programs supporting all three horizons of innovation; shifting enterprise customer relationships to collaborative innovation partnerships. She has co-created new products with leading innovation giants including Hitachi, Microsoft, GE, Amazon, Intel, Citibank, & Thomson Reuters.
